About

JOY BOMB LONDON

Life is serious.
We aren’t.

OK, that’s not entirely true — we are serious AF about creating happy moments.

In fact, we seriously believe that a happy moment can be one of the most powerful tools to maintaining the health of our minds, our bodies, our relationships . . . our survival. That’s right, we said survival! And lots of very smart people will back us up on this. A good laugh is like a break for your brain, and it can restore hope and revive optimism when life feels like a dry, dusty wasteland.

Luckily for you, we happen to be experts in mining these golden moments out of even the smelliest of shit sandwiches. JOY Bomb London installations bring our irreverent vision of joy to ordinary spaces, transforming them into explosions of bright, sunny, squishy, furry, fluffy, scented delight.

JOY BOMB LONDON

We believe in fun for FUN’S sake

JOY Bomb London was created by whimsical gangster Amy Broch after her husband Sean’s 2018 ALS diagnosis. Immediately, the couple began exploring every treatment available in order to treat and slow the progression of the disease.

Learning that happiness was linked to better treatment outcomes and longevity for ALS patients was a big moment. Suddenly, the colourful, playful installations Amy had been creating and experimenting with for years had a greater significance.

JOY Bomb London was born, and its creative mission became FUN for FUN’s sake. The drive behind every multi-sensory installation is to make the memorable moments happy ones. Proceeds from every installation support the Healey Center for ALS. It is the largest hospital-based research program in the world and supports early stage trials of promising ALS treatments.
